VEGAN Support

There are a million and one reasons to toss animal  products off your plate - not the least of which is the fact that you don't need to murder somebody to satisfy your appetite, animal agriculture is cruel AND it's killing the planet, your heart and arteries will thank you, you might lose weight, it's fun to try new stuff,  or because you heard Miley Cyrus was doing it and well if Miley is doing it...

Whatever your reason, it can be a daunting task but you don't have to do it alone. There are great organizations that can help. In fact I can't say enough about how great I think Veganuary is. They are a group that prides itself on helping ordinary folks like you and me make the transition to a plant based diet.

I recently made the transition myself - December 10th, 2017 to be exact and it's the best decision I have ever made. I love knowing that I no longer contribute to the suffering or death of any living creature. Well... there might be the occasional bug that drowns when I rinse my organic lettuce, but in my defence, if I see them before they go down the drain I do try to rescue them. Point is (I digress so much) if I can do this anyone can.

If you'd like to use my experiment that became an entire lifestyle shift as a guide or crutch in any way, I'd love to help you. I would start off by saying sign up for Veganuary - take their 30 day challenge. Watch a lot of films of being vegan, and come here to the blog and click on the links to the right of this page.

Start here. These posts are called The Twelve Days of Christmas because it was Christmas and I wanted to help people to transition over the holidays but really the tips and tricks found there will apply to any time of the year.

They are in reverse order because I'm a terrible blogger who is technically challenged. But if you're keen, you can start at the bottom and work your way up or read them in reverse order.

You can also click on the Vegan at the side. That will bring up all my vegan posts including the Christmas ones.

I hope that helps and here's to your good health!

Love,
Shan
